Negin Kianfar

I grew up in post-revolutionary Iran, in Tehran. My career path was a colourful one across three different but closely related fields. As a teenager I began working as a voice actor, giving Persian voices to major Hollywood films, and I presented radio and television programmes. My voice brought a great many world-famous actresses to life for Iranian audiences.
At the same time I studied film and film direction at the art university of Tehran. I have made several documentaries, which have also been broadcast on Dutch television.
Alongside that I took intensive painting courses both inside and outside the university and trained with various teachers. My passion for painting has never left me.
